Boulder, CO (November 4, 2019) – Redeam, the leading global connectivity stack for the tour and activities sector providing universal agnostic connectivity, digitized channel management, and voucher redemption/reconciliation services for and between operators and resellers, today announced the promotions of several company leaders to key positions: Justin Turner, has been promoted to VP Sales; Chris Neal has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer; and Monica Marics has been promoted to VP Customer Success. All three powerhouse leaders will serve as members of Redeam’s Executive Team, helping to guide and execute upon the company’s fast-paced growth strategy.

Brief bios of the promoted Executive Team Members:

  • Justin Turner previously held the Redeam position, Director of Operator Solutions, U.S. West. A true market-maker, he has held various sales titles across a multitude of industries during his 17-year career. He began in the travel, tour, and activity space when he joined LivingSocial in its infancy. While there he helped launch the company’s Activities segment that grew from $0 to $10M in two years. Justin then had a series of promotions to and within LivingSocial’s greater Entertainment sector where his team closed and managed a $20M portfolio of entertainment touring brands including Cirque du Soleil, Harlem Globetrotters, World Wrestling Entertainment, Feld Entertainment, AEG, and Spartan Race. LivingSocial was acquired by Groupon in 2016.
  • Chris Neal, a 25-year hospitality technology veteran, originally joined Redeam as Vice President, Engineering. Prior to joining Redeam, Chris was the Director of Architecture for all U.S.-based engineering teams of DerbySoft and the Systems Architect for Pegasus Solutions. It was during his 20-year tenure at Pegasus, the first company to build an electronic connectivity platform for the hospitality industry, that Chris got involved in connectivity with Pegasus’ industry-pioneering common booking framework between Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Hotel Reservation Systems known as UltraSwitch. Chris then went on to help design and build UltraDirect, the next-generation connectivity solution, a single API surface enabling online travel agencies (OTAs) to provide a complete shopping experience for consumers that included hotel searches, static hotel information, cached and real time availability, and real time reservations. Chris now leads the same pioneering connectivity opportunity at Redeam, which is bringing identical digital solutions to the traditionally analog tours, activities, and attractions industry. Chris oversees its technical team of 21 and growing.
  • Monica Marics joined Redeam as Director, Customer Success. She has over 25 years of experience designing, building, and deploying great software products to delight customers. At Redeam, Monica is developing new operational processes and automations for easy product and partner onboarding. Monica has a long list of exemplary professional accomplishments ranging from product development and marketing to technology engineering and operations, and her past experience includes VP positions in Operations, Engineering, and Product Management in a variety of industries including telecom, cable, public safety and voting systems. Monica holds nine U.S. patents, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech with a focus on Human Computer Interface, and a B.S. in Industrial & Operations Engineering from University of Michigan.

“Redeam’s executive team is comprised of best-in-class leaders” said company CEO Melanie Ryan Meador. “I’m so proud of the talent, skills, attitude, and commitment of this team and their collaboration to grow Redeam into an even greater success.”
