Redeam Produces “Tour Guide Throwdown,” Huge Live Online Competition to Support Experience Providers
13 partners from across the industry – ticketing/reservation systems, OTAs and other resellers, tourism marketing firms, tour guide training companies, and event companies – join to rally the cause

Tour Guide Throwdown is a live online competition among tour guides worldwide who will vie for bragging rights and a cash-and-prize combined kitty of over $5,000. Competing tour guides will need to present themselves and their tour in two minutes or less, and their performances will be judged by a panel of experts and voted upon by a live audience. Contestants worldwide – from San Francisco, New Orleans, Detroit, Seattle, The Rocky Mountains, Canada, Barbados, Australia, Puerto Rico, Greece, Thailand, Peru, Czechia, Pakistan, and Croatia — have already begun to sign up. Tour Guide Throwdown, produced by Redeam and its industry event partners – Arival, Blend Marketing, Centaman, Checkfront, Global Tours Connect, Groupon, Indie Travel, JetBlue Travel, Peek, smarTours, The Trip School, Touriosity, and VivaTicket — is a free event to enter as a competitor or attend as an audience member. The only way to vote for the final winners is to register to watch the event.
