President and CEO
Melanie Ryan Meador is a travel industry veteran and business transformation specialist having spent 20+ years in hospitality and online travel prior to joining Redeam in June 2018. Melanie’s travel industry roots began when she worked for Sunburst Hospitality as Director of Revenue Management and Transient Sales, where she pioneered the corporate adoption of online technology “firsts” that led the company to experience exponential revenue growth in just three years. She then went on to serve as VP of Strategic Accounts and Business Development at Orbitz Worldwide, where she led a high-performing global strategic sales and account team. Melanie, a member of HEDNA (Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) for 12 years, was an eight-year board member before being elected the National President for two consecutive two-year terms. Melanie also previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at FORTRUST, a Tier III colocation data center, and Chief Revenue Officer of BankRate, where she led a business transformation that resulted in the company’s acquisition. Melanie is also the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the Meadors Masters Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on providing humanitarian support globally to those in need. Melanie has a BS in Marketing and Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University.
Chief Technology Officer
Chris is a seasoned technical/software/infrastructure architect/technical leader who has spent 25 years in hospitality technology. Prior to joining Redeam, Chris was the Director of Architecture for all U.S.-based engineering teams of DerbySoft and the Systems Architect for Pegasus Solutions. At Redeam, Chris oversees the building, integration, and maintenance of outbound API connections from Redeam’s core solutions to the back-end of third parties with whom Redeam partners. This enables Redeam solutions to connect with those third-parties, such as ticketing reservation systems, online travel agents, and ticket resellers, to Redeam customers such as tour and attraction operators. In addition to being responsible for this aspect of Redeam’s technology stack, Chris is also responsible for company web applications. Chris appreciates the difficult problems but can see simple solutions.
Chief Product Officer
Rachel is a 20+ travel technology veteran skilled in Product Management & Strategy, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success. She has held senior positions at some of the best-known brands across the travel and hospitality industry, building out two operations, product, and client support organizations from the startup phase to fully functioning, profitable established companies that supported thousands of clients. She is passionate about working with clients, bridging the gap between customer/industry needs and technology that can efficiently and intuitively meet those needs. A published subject matter expert and presenter, Rachel has been a long-time active member of such industry organizations as HEDNA, HTNG (Hotel Technology Next Generation), and OpenTravel Alliance.
Chief Financial Officer
Jodi is an accomplished financial executive with over 20 years of experience in driving financial operations and positioning organizations for success through system implementation and strategic guidance. She is a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a passion for startup culture and helping startups reach their full potential. Before joining Redeam, Jodi held senior leadership roles at technology startups UpPurpose and Valyant AI. She spent a decade in investment banking, executing and leading over $3 billion in debt and equity capital raises and conducting M&A transactions at firms including Banc of America Securities and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Jodi holds a BS in Economics and an MBA in Financial Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Director of People and Culture
Elly Willhite is Redeam’s Director of People and Culture. Her ultimate goal is to support the goals and challenges of Redeam by providing services that promote a work environment that is characterized by fair treatment of staff, open communications, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect. Elly has over 10 years of travel industry experience. She began her career in hotels at the property level in 2010 and transitioned into travel technology in 2014.
